Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We didn’t have a reservation, but they had a table for us as we entered right when they open for dinner. I was very impressed to see the room quickly fill up with guests, most of whom seemed local (and elderly). You can really tell it’s a neighborhood dining spot and it has also welcomed many famous people over the years (many frames on the wall!). The food was great with good portions. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area."
"The absolute best! We went several times during our trip because everything was so good. Every dish we tried was amazing, the staff was very friendly, prices were reasonable, and the service was fast. Highly recommend! Favorites that we didn’t take a picture because we were so hungry: Pizza Carbonara and Petto di pollo alla palermitana."
"Really great, come early and put your name down because you’ll need to placed on a waitlist early(even on a weekday). My group of 5 went back twice because it was predictably good. They also were really accommodating. Best dish we came back for was the salad with mushrooms and celery called crudita, we ordered 2 during the second dining experience because we loved the taste… wow. Service was good even though they were busy and prices were very reasonable. We tried a lot of the food, didn’t take a picture of all of it but all was tasty. Side note, try the veal"
"If you're looking for a place with soul, you've come to the right place. This Italian-run establishment guarantees delicious food and a family atmosphere. The service is incredibly friendly, and the owners personally care for each guest. This isn't your typical tourist trap – you'll mostly meet locals inside, which speaks for itself. A wonderful spot on the city map!"
"By far the best restaurant I visited during my stay in Italy - fantastic food and amazing prices! We managed to get there before it got really busy and were seated immediately. It only cost around €15 each for a starter, main and 0.5lt wine between two. Definitely a hidden gem of the city and deserves the queue waiting to be seated to dine here. Fair warning the grande pizza is HUGE - I would definitely recommend sizing to the medium on this one."
"The most delicious place in Roma. Everyone is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy! We visited this place our entire vacation! WE RECOMMEND! PLACE MUST VISITED IN Roma! Thank you"
"The pizza and seafood were spot on, but the desserts are the real reason to come here. We tried the tiramisu, cheesecake, cherry pie, chocolate puffs, and panna cotta—all were incredible. The waiters were super busy but still really friendly and welcoming. Total 10/10 experience!"
"Wonderful delicious food!! We had octopus, pizza, pasta, appetizers, all excellent! Family owned restaurant over many decades! The grandma was diligently serving the customers too!"
